• Passengers must have a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result. The test must have been taken at most 72 hours before departure of the flight to Uzbekistan. The certificate must be in English or Russian.– This does not apply to passengers younger than 12 years.
• Passengers are subject to a Coronavirus (COVID-19) Rapid Antigen test upon arrival at their own expense.
• Passengers could be subject to quarantine.

Detailed Tourist Information

Despite the difficult epidemiological situation in the world, there are no restrictions on entry to the country in Uzbekistan, except for some states.

From December 21, 2020 to March 1, 2021, Uzbekistan suspended flights with the UK, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Austria, Australia, the Netherlands and South Africa.

Persons arriving in Uzbekistan from other countries must provide a PCR certificate for COVID-19 with a negative result, made no more than 72 hours before arrival, as well as undergo thermometry and an express test for COVID-19 at the airport.In case of a negative test result made at the airport of Uzbekistan, passengers can freely go to the city, if positive, for a 14-day quarantine, which can be carried out both in the quarantine zone and at the hotel.

Lockdown Details

Persons aged over 65 are recommended to remain in self-isolation and not to visit public spaces. Large group gatherings in any public place are prohibited.

From 15 August, all shopping malls, clothing markets, restaurants, cafes, beauty salons and larger shops, as well as gyms, swimming pools, private kindergartens and education centres have reopened.

You must wear a face mask while outside – you may be fined (up to approximately £100) if you do not comply with this regulation.

A ban on all cultural entertainments and other public events remains in place. Weddings and other family events are permitted with no more than 30 people present (who should be relatives). Gyms, swimming pools, restaurants, markets and large stores are closed, as are private kindergartens and any other education establishment irrespective of their legal status.
